Commercial fishermen affected by the coronavirus pandemic have two months to apply for up to $4,000 in CARES Act funding

Maryland has been allocated $4,125,000 in federal CARES funding to assist fisheries during the pandemic. About $3 million will be given in direct payments, and the remainder will pay for seafood marketing and business support, DNR said on its website.
